About the Artist

Andrew Dengate is a multidisciplinary artist and designer working across visual identity, print, digital, and fine art. Since beginning his professional work in the two-dimensional arts in 2021, he has helped reimagine brands through logos, packaging, menus, and digital resources, while continuing to cultivate his own artistic practice.

His recent work reflects an ongoing exploration of processes, ideas, and things that catch his eye. Two major bodies of work are large-scale acrylic paintings, often built through expressive layers of texture, and carvings on birch panels, where carved forms contrast with black paint.

Alongside his independent practice, Andrew has developed merchandise and T-shirt designs for organizations. He is currently beginning a new project: Spirits of the West, a line of canned cocktails he is designing and bringing to life.
